The meeting that was scheduled to take place tonight, Friday 2nd May 2008 at the Chase Hotel, Nuneaton has been cancelled.
A new meeting will be scheduled to take place, and members will be contacted by the Secretary, Mr David Humphries as soon as a date is set. Details will also be posted on this web page.
The International Dobermann Club is holding their working World Championships in Austria May 24th & 25th 2008, come and see the best Dobermann in the world compete in one place for the sport IPO!
The event will be held at the stadium in Judenburg, click here for more information a list of nearby hotels came be found here. The nearest airport to Judenburg is Graz for those that would like to attend to support Great Britain. There were 43 entries from 14 countries in 2007 and a similar respresentaion is expected this year.
Great Britain this year will be represented by Des Connolly and Chancepixies Legend VPGIII (Finn)

Des and Finn at the IDC 2007
Founded in 2004, the GBDC was set up to have the qualifications of the Dobermann working at the sport of VPG/Schutzhund to be recognised by the rest of the world, and ultimately be able to send a team to the International Dobermann Club World Championships.
On the 1st September 2006, thanks to the efforts of the GBDC committee, the GBDC was accepted into the International Dobermann Club (IDC) to represent the Great Britain Dobermann on the international stage.

The GBDC aim to work along side other Dobermann Clubs, the Kennel Club, Rescues and other relevent organisations in order to ensure the health and welfare of our beloved breed.
